Chilly!
After last week's fluke warm days we have now hit the cold fall and are heading in for a cold winter. Karis was ready for the weather change and it didn't stop us from our daily walks!
Happy Halloween!
I have to admit, although I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, I have always loved dressing up as a kid and of course was planning on rigging something for Karis this year. We found some great high quality costumes at Costco and decide on the raccoon since it is so nice and warm!
A cold front hit Louisville, so to avoid the chill we made plans to hang out with our friends the Clutterhams for dinner, cupcakes and a trip to the mall.
Yoda, Obi Wan and Meredith!
A woodsman, grey squirrel and raccoon. I tried to convince Greg to dress up as a nut or trash, but it didn't work.
Rodents!
I love that tail!
New Toys
With Karis' new development we've broken out some new toys for her including this amazing exersaucer. She doesn't really know what to do with it quite yet, but I think she likes the upright perspective on things.
She's so small she needed a pillow booster
She also has been joining us for dinner in her bumbo seat!
Karis-isms
Standing Tall- Her leg muscles are really getting strong. If we hold her up, she stands on her own two little feet.
Small Fry- After comparing Karis to various other babies her age and younger it has been decided, Karis is a small fry and will probably be so from now till the rest of her life!
Thumbelina- Karis has found her thumbs and loves sucking on them, but she does seem to be an equal opportunity hand smacker.

so cute-- haven't seen many pictures for a month since we've been in Asia! She's developed so much and is cute as ever! :D We really miss her! :o)
