Week Four - The Rhythm of Love

Family Time 
Week 4 was not so much a week of firsts, but continuing to grow in our knowledge and love of our Karis. Mom and Dad Ginn loved hanging out with Karis and were also such a great help around the house and with the dogs! Our week included:

Taking more pictures of our photogenic little girl.

Mom knitting more goodies for Karis -- she will never be at a loss for pink hats!

Skype reunion with the whole family including Auntie Charissa and Uncle Jonathan.

Mom getting comfortable with the "boys."

Grandpa starting to read the Word to her at an early age.

A classic!

Waterbaby
(if you already saw this part it's because I got confused on what week it was supposed to go under)
Greg and I were convinced that Karis would absolutely wail during her first water bath (she HATES having her diaper change with a passion). Nonetheless, I was determined to get her bathed after several days of spit up and finding lint in her little folds (yes, my vanity strikes again, just wait till she can fit tutus...). With the help of a skilled grandma we gave Karis her first real bath and to everyone's amazement she LOVED it. She was so relaxed in fact, that she ended up peeing on Grandma when we took her out to dry off! What a fun activity this will be as part of our nighttime routine once she is old enough to get regular bath.

Dinner Out!
We also took our first fun outing as a family and braved a dinner out. Our place of choice, Cracker Barrel for their delicious dumplin's and pork chops! Karis did remarkably well and only started to complain when grandma stopped by the store to shop.

We were also visited by some great friends over the week!
