Today we left Colorado and then spent the bulk of the day driving through Kansas. While not as bad as Nevada, for the most part, Kansas was pretty boring. And, it was quite disappointing that there were no sightings of Clark Kent or Dorothy.
Fortunately, upon arriving in Kansas City (which spans both Kansas and Missouri) we were able to meet Mr. Arthur Bryant and boy did he serve us some good BBQ! Sliced beef, smoked turkey, short ribs and pulled pork. After our delicious dinner we headed to downtown Kansas City and were able to explore for a bit before driving to our hotel.
That's all for me tonight -- an early start tomorrow, a stop in St. Louis and a time change require an early retirement! Louisville, KY here we come
