It still seems rather surreal that we're actually on our way and have started our new life. Perhaps Oby offers a bit of home which softens the blow a bit. Whatever it is, I'm sure you all will know when I actually awake from this little bubble of mine! It's rather late now and we have a long day of driving tomorrow so I'll sign off till our next stop (with free internet!). If you want to really stay on top of our travels you can stalk Oby on his twitter and see up to date pics! Hasta Luego from the Mile High City!

Howdy from Half-way!
It is nice to have a moment in lovely Denver to sit down and post; however, the car ride has been rather fast, painless and fun. We are well equipped with tons of food and snacks as well as a variety of entertainment. The holy hiphop has been blasting when Greg and Oby are at the wheel, but I've been able to slip in some Wicked and some of my audiobooks. Right now we're part way through David Sedaris' Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and Jane Austen & Co. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Fun stuff =) I hope to finish knitting my second beanie and listen to Harry Potter 7 by the end of this trip as well, yay! It has also been fun just chatting with the boys and enjoying the scenery. I've always joked that Riverside and Modesto are the armpit of California, but these have been far surpassed by the entire state of Nevada which I lovingly dub the butt crack of the continental US. It was darn ugly for a long time. But pursevering through that state we found Utah quite nice (or at least what I saw while awake and in the dark). My favorite so far though has been Wyoming. There are beautiful rock formations and we drove through a National Forest that was simply stunning. It was nice to enjoy God's creation and it definitely kept me awake while driving!
