Getting Settled

Posting requires internet. Unfortunately, we probably won't have internet until Tuesday and Oby is leaving in a couple hours, so I wanted to do a quick post before we lose all connections to the outside world.

Everything has been good here as we settle into Louisville. I had orientation on Friday and it was both exciting/humbling to be at the seminary. I'll have to post in more detail later this week and make sure to include pictures of Cami and I meeting Dr. Albert Mohler.

Yesterday we finished unloading the essentials from the POD to our apartment and then went sight seeing with Oby. We hit up Colonel Sanders' gravestone at the Cavehill Cemetery, the Louisville Slugger Museum and had a chance to drive around downtown Louisville.

Today we attended church at Sojourn in Germantown, went to White Castle for lunch and then had an impromptu photo shoot back at the cemetery. Oby said his favorite place in the entire city is . . . the cemetery. You can ask him about that later.

Anyways, we need to take care of some things via Oby's computer at the clubhouse before he leaves (like ordering internet!) so detailed posting with cool pictures will have to wait till later!
